The Return of Illness at the Holiday Village Flamingo Beach

Breaking NewsHoliday Village Flamingo Beach Resort Illness returns as holidaymakers voice complaints about sickness and diarrhoea on popular travel forum, TripAdvisor.

Guests who stayed at the Holiday Village Flamingo Beach in April 2013 are advised to contact Simpson Millar’s Holiday Illness Claims team immediately for advice.

Simpson Millar has dealt with several incidents concerning First Choice’s Holiday Villages including illness claims where the parasite cryptosporidium and other food poisoning bacteria have been identified in the stools of severely ill guests.

This hotel, which is a 4 star all inclusive holiday village, is located in Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. The hotels dining facilities include several restaurants were hygiene standards have been described as questionable by unhappy customers of the tour operator, First Choice.

Families have been struck down with gastric illness and one lady was transferred to hospital in an ambulance and is said to have collapsed due to dehydration.

Food Poisoning Suspected at Melia Sharm Resort, Egypt


LATEST NEWS - We have been reading reports on the internet written by travellers returning from the Melia Sharm Resort complaining of gastric symptoms often associated with food poisoning.

Holidaymakers have complained about illness at the hotel which is located in Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt. The symptoms of the illness experienced includes: vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach cramps – a number of guests are said to have been hospitalised and suspect that food poisoning was the cause.

Simpson Millar are currently investigating these claims and if it transpires that this outbreak of illness is due to food poisoning at the Melia Sharm Resort then holidaymakers can expect to claim and recover substantial compensation.

PRESS RELEASE - Holidaymakers complain to Thomson Holidays about illness at the Club Magic Life in Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt as suspected food poisoning claims are investigated by Simpson Millar's travel lawyers.

According to TripAdvisor, holidaymakers have experienced profuse diarrhoea, fever and sickness whilst on holiday at the Club Magic Life in April 2013.

The hotel is situated on the beach and is rated as 5T by Thomson – its restaurant facilities include a main buffet and several a la carte diners. Complaints range from poor hygiene, luke-warm food, poor quality food and general standards which are not consistent with its star rating.
