Simpson Millars Holiday Illness Claims team have recently read internet reports from holiday-makers who have suffered from profuse diarrhoea – violent stomach cramps – fever and headaches during holidays at the Sonesta Beach Resort and Casino in Naama Bay , Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt .
Many holiday-makers claim poor hygiene standards at the Sonesta Beach Resort caused their holiday illness, and one honeymoon couple suspects the presence of salmonella food poisoning whilst other report dysentery.
It would appear that a number of British holiday makers have complained about hygiene standards at the hotel during December with the Reps suggesting over indulgence or change in climate as the cause of illness. See reports here.
